Cadillac Dropping Concept Before Pebble Beach

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has confirmed that it will !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! this weekend at the annual automotive love fest that is the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

The new concept, which could wear the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! name (sounds a lot like ‘The Mirage’ in French or Spanish), will be unveiled at a private reception on the evening of Thursday, August 15th. It will be part of a new public exhibit that includes Cadillac’s newest production models and some of its most influential historic cars.

The exhibit will begin Friday, August 16 and will be located adjacent to the Pebble Beach Resort at Peter Hay Hill Golf Course. The exhibit will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sunday August 18, and guests will be able to register to test drive new Cadillac models, including the the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , otherwise known as the 2013 North American Car of the Year.

Meanwhile, the heritage exhibit will include three personal luxury coupes showcasing Cadillac’s lineage of dramatic design and performance, including a 1967 Eldorado, a 1965 Coupe Deville, and a 1937 Series 90 V16. In addition, Cadillac’s V series and Vsport cars will be featured at the sold-out The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, with visitors being able to drive Cadillac performance cars like the 2013 ATS 2.0 T and 2013 CTS-V Coupe.

Just want to note the picture is an early sketch of the Buick Riviera Concept and nothing to do with this! We've all seen the Ciel concept and this has nothing to do with it, and I'm guessing this concept will be more bold and Alpha based, ergo the more radical picture used.

Interesting choice of name. I'm getting the sense that there is a hidden message in there somewhere about the likeliness of the concept being put into production, but I just can't quite put my finger on what it is...

As far as the known Caddy lineup coming out that has yet to debut a concept there is the following:
LTS - think A8/ 7Series, will ride on a new platform known at Omega
ATS coupe - self explanatory
ATS-V - again self explanatory, 450+hp, probably 3.6TT a la 2014 CTS Vsport
2015 Escalade - set to debut production ready version later this fall, so it won't be this
Full-size CUV - slot between SRX and 'Sclade
3rd gen SRX - likely to be Alpha based
Compact CUV - slot below SRX
*Roadster - this might be what they are revealing
*Halo car - this was on, but just recently canned because it wasn't exciting enough. back to the drawing board. I doubt they would waste anyone's time with a bland R8 fighter
